This is my guilty pleasure, the obscene chocolate fudgy brownie that blows my mind and satisfies all my sweet cravings with just a first bite.
Warning!!!This dessert will even convert a person with no sweet cravings into an addictive chocoholic!!!
It’s satisfying, it’s desirable, it’s rich, it has a divine texture, it has an alarming amount of dark chocolate and butter but it’s such a sweet delight, you’ll eat it all until the last crumb, and then you’ll fall on the couch feeling totally full and gladly fast for 2 days afterwards. That’s what this dessert is.

Ingredients

  • 350gm dark chocolate
  • 235gm butter
  • 350gm brown sugar
  • 4 large egs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 160gm or 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 table spoon good quality cocoa powder

Method

Line a 6×6 inch or 16×16 cm square cake pan with parchment paper, set aside.
Preheat the oven to 180C or 360F.

Place chocolate chips or chocolate bar broken into smaller pieces with butter into a small pot and melt it on the stove with a heat set to medium. Mix it occasionally until the mixture is nice and smooth. Don’t over-burn!
Once its smooth, turn off the heat and add the brown sugar into the pot, stir really well. Sugar will be slowly dissolving, no worries if it won’t dissolve completely. Set aside and cool it off for a few minutes.
Once the mixture is slightly cooled, add eggs one by one and the egg yolks, mix well until it’s fully incorporated.
Sift flour and cocoa powder and add to your chocolate mixture. Use spatula to mix it up, so the bubbles don’t form.
Pour your mixture into a prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for no longer than 30 minutes!
Once the brownies are baked, leave them in the form until they are cooled off completely.
Cut into squares (try not to eat half of the batch while cutting) and enjoy!
